No, not typically. The independent manager usually has a narrowly defined role which is outlined in the definitive transaction documents.

Why would an entity require an the independent manager?

There are numerous instances where an independent manager could be required. Some instances include, without limitation, partnership disputes, deed-in-lieu, pocket deeds, lending or other SPE requirements.

How are your services priced?

We charge an annual fee commensurate with the value of the asset owned by the SPE.
